Cookie Policy

This policy defines the rules for using cookies by this website.

What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files created automatically by a web browser when visiting websites. The information contained in a particular cookie can only be read by the website from which the cookie originates. Thus, the website cannot access other files on the user’s computer.

Thanks to the information contained in cookies, the website “knows” how you use it and can accordingly adjust the displayed content or offer you assistance.

What do websites use cookies for?

On the portal website, we use technical, analytical, and marketing cookies.

Technical cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the portal. We use them to optimize our website for the devices and browsers most commonly used by visitors – thanks to this, your computer, tablet, or phone will display it correctly and clearly;

We use analytical cookies to improve the functioning of our website and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing activities without identifying your personal data.

Among other things, by using analytical cookies, we create aggregate statistics and analyses that help us understand how our service is used. These activities allow us to continuously improve the structure and content of the portal to better meet the needs of our current and potential customers.

For this type of cookie, we use solutions and tools from Google, such as Google Analytics. More information about the Google Analytics code and Google cookies can be found in the Google Analytics Security and Privacy Principles.

Marketing cookies are used to tailor the content and form of advertisements displayed both on our pages and in our partners’ advertising networks, including Google, to your needs and preferences.

More information about cookies used in Google’s advertising network can be found on the Google AdWords Help page.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity for website operators, and provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may display MCPOLSKA.PL advertisements on websites providing their ad space. These vendors, including Google, may use cookies to display ads based on a user’s previous visits to http://www.mcpolska.pl and related websites. You can opt-out of Google’s use of cookies and disable them on the Google Ads Preferences page.

How long do we use cookies?

We use two types of cookies:

  • session cookies – remain on your device until you leave the website or close your web browser;
  • persistent cookies – remain on your device for a specified period or until manually deleted.

What data do we collect through cookies?

Through cookie technology, we only collect anonymous statistical data about you, used to improve the user experience of the portal and minimize the annoyance of ads.

We do not collect any data that would allow us to identify you. The only information about the user, which, however, cannot be used to identify the user without being combined with other data, is the IP address from which the user connects.
Your IP address may also be provided to our partners, including Google. However, even in this case, it is not possible to identify you based on this data.

Can I opt-out of accepting cookies?

Changing the cookie preferences or deleting those files and website data in Safari may affect the operation of other programs, such as Dashboard.

Choose Safari menu > Preferences, click Privacy, and then do any of the following:

Change how cookies and website data are accepted: Choose an option next to the Cookies and website data label:

  • Always block: Safari doesn’t allow any websites, third parties, or advertisers to store cookies and other data on your Mac. This may prevent some websites from functioning properly.
  • Only from the current website: Safari accepts cookies and website data only from the website you are currently visiting. Websites often have embedded content from other sources. Safari doesn’t allow those third parties to store or access cookies and other data.
